Hey there,
My name is Mike. I like to take pictures of things as they happen in front of me without influencing them in any way. If posing in front of a camera is not your cup of tea, if you find group shots full of fake smiles bland, or maybe you’re just a fan of being real –
then I’m the photographer for you.
​
I don’t fake any emotion. I take pictures of what I see. If you are passionate and tender, that’s great. That will come through in your photos. If you’re goofy and flippant, that’s cool too. That will be expressed in the photos. I believe in capturing real moments, because these are your moments. They tell your story.

I love to take pictures of people, and a wedding is one of the few places where people won’t say no to a photo. The laughing and crying, the drinking and dancing, the kisses and hugs, the kids and the elders, the embarrassing speeches and the looks of adoration, all of these things and more, can be found at a wedding. It’s easy for some of those moments to go unnoticed while participating in them. I’ll capture the moments that you remember and the ones that you missed.

How does it work?
​
We’ll set up a meeting to get to know each other a little. We’ll talk about what you have planned, what you may need a little help planning, and what you want from your wedding photos. If we are a good fit, we’ll move forward.
​
I’ll work with you to develop a schedule so you get all of the photographs you want. Including bride and groom prep (or bride and bride / groom and groom), the first look, the wedding party, sunset, family portraits, because let’s face it, your extended family doesn’t get together that often (and these are the photos your mother wants).
​
Soon after your wedding, I’ll have your fully edited, full resolution photos available for download, usually in about two weeks (but no more than 4). If you’d like them on a USB drive that’s not a problem either, I’ll send that through the mail. You are free to share the photos with friends and family as you wish. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, no worries, you’ll have full printing rights, but I will also offer prints and albums to make it easier for you. No high-pressure sales, just giving you some options.
